Welcome to the University of Essex Women’s Rugby Football Club (UEWRFC) website

 We’re a friendly and social club always looking for new members to join us. You don’t need to have had any previous experience – many of our players had never even held a rugby ball before they joined us! If you want to make friends, get fit and go out in crazy fancy dress, this might just be the club for you!

We train twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and compete against other university teams in the BUCS league with matches on Wednesdays. We hit Sports Fed every Wednesday evening without fail to show Essex how fancy dress is really done!
